libeinspline-dev software package provides library for interpolating cubic basis splines (static library and doc), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libeinspline-dev
libeinspline-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libeinspline-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libeinspline-dev *
You will get with libeinspline-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
